TOADAL Repellant™ is a product from Optimally Balanced™. This website and associated, print, media or other digital materials are produced and maintained by Optimally Balanced™.

The following Privacy Policy is a legally binding agreement that shall govern the relationship with our users and others which may interact or interface with Optimally Balanced™ and our subsidiaries and affiliates. This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their “Personally Identifiable Information” (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in U.S. privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.

Information we collect

We collect Non-Personal Information and Personal Information. Non-Personal Information we collect includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks.  

How we collect information

Non-Personal Information is collected anytime you visit one of our website(s), including, but not limited to, optimallybalanced.com, optimallybalanced.net, optimallybalanced.shop, toadal-repellant.com or use any of our application(s). We collect Personal Information only when you register as a member, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, use live chat, open a support ticket or enter information on our website(s) or in our application(s), when you provide us with feedback on our products or services. You are giving implicit consent to collect, store and use Personal and Non-Personal Information, in any manner consent with this Privacy Policy, at any time that you submit information to us, regardless of how it is submitted or the medium it is transmitted through.  

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, the browser user agent string and other requisite data to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.  

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.  

Shop

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  1. Send you information about your account and order
  2. Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  3. Process payments and prevent fraud
  4. Set up your account for our store

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders. In general, the Personal Information you provide to us is used to help us communicate with you.  When you register, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out any form, use live chat, open a support ticket or enter information in any manner or capacity on our website(s) or in our application(s), you are authorizing us to collect, store and use your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Additionally.  By entering any information into any Contact Form, whether submitted or not, you are directly authorizing us to collect, store and use any Personal Information entered, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Expressed Personal Information we collect includes but is not limited to, IP Address, name, email, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, social security number, general health or medical information or other details to help you with your experience.

Polls and Quizzes

When visitors or users answer a quiz, we retain the response data for a minimum of 30 days. We reserve the right to retain said data without removing it from our system. If an unregistered visitor or user submits a quiz’s answer, we capture NO Personally Identifiable Information.

Spam filtering and verification

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Whenever you populate a form, we capture the IP Address for spam protection. We also capture the email address and might capture other personal data included in the Form fields. When visitors or users submit a poll, we capture the IP Address for spam protection and to set voter limitations. When visitors or users votes on a poll we retain the IP Address data for 30 days and anonymize it. All collected data might be shown publicly and we send it to our workers or contractors to perform necessary actions based on votes. We use Akismet Spam for spam protection. How we protect information

We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access.  Your account is protected by your account password and we urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out of your account after each use.  We further protect your information from potential security breaches by implementing certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls and secure socket layer technology.  However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software.  By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.

Malware Scanning

We use regular Malware Scanning. Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive or credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Smush sends images to the WPMU DEV servers to optimize them for web use. This includes the transfer of EXIF data. The EXIF data will either be stripped or returned as it is. It is not stored on the WPMU DEV servers. Smush uses the Stackpath Content Delivery Network (CDN). Stackpath may store web log information of site visitors, including IPs, UA, referrer, Location and ISP info of site visitors for 7 days. Smush uses a third-party email service (Drip) to send informational emails to the site administrator. The administrator’s email address is sent to Drip and a cookie is set by the service.
